The FJD Trion Model post-processing software allows extracting terrain and generating contours, but it does not do so natively on the device.
The FJD Trion P2 is designed for field capture sessions with high mobility. The purchase includes 2 base batteries, and each can deliver up to 2 hours of continuous work, depending on the type of use and project conditions. This allows for a more efficient surveying workflow in the field, as you can alternate batteries and extend the workday without completely stopping the operation.
The FJD Trion P2 offers different georeferencing alternatives depending on the level of precision and workflow required by the project. If georeferenced data is needed, you can use control points, direct georeferencing via its mini RTK antenna through NTRIP, or even work with PPK for post-processing. This provides greater flexibility to adapt to different scenarios: from rapid surveys to projects requiring more rigorous spatial control.
The FJD Trion P2 incorporates internal cameras that allow coloring the point cloud and improving the visual interpretation of the survey. However, it can also use an external Insta360 camera when a more complete visual capture or better results for advanced visualization workflows are sought. The Insta360 camera is especially aimed at achieving better results in Gaussian Splatting, when the project requires a more immersive, realistic, and appealing visual representation of the captured environment. Simply put: the internal cameras help color the point cloud; the Insta360 enhances visual quality when you want to take the survey to a more immersive 3D experience.
